Description
Come to this upcoming 4-week series where you will complete mini embroidery pieces. It's fun and easy! Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn. Embroidery may also incorporate other materials such as pearls, beads, and sequins.
In this series, learn the chain stitch, satin stitch, back stitch, fly stitch, feather stitch, stem stitch, and French knots. Plus, several specialty stitches. We will also work with ribbon and beads. You will learn about the basics such as how to choose thread and needles, using hoops, tracing designs onto fabric and more!
Week 1 - Learn four or five stitches with a provided design.
Week 2 - Learn four or five additional stitches with a provided design.
Week 3 - Explore ribbon embroidery, beading and a specialty stitch or two with a provided design.
Week 4 - Discover techniques for creating designs. Plus, freestyle embroidery on provided pre-printed fabric.
