Free Lecture Series at the Cedarburg Cultural Center - Why we Love the Packers!
Revisit the great history of the Packer franchise through hundreds of photographs, old football cards, newspapers and magazines in this fast-moving presentation with presenter Jim Rice. Fans will enjoy watching for their favorite players as the history unfolds. Talks begin at 6:30pm and "tailgating" is available at the CCC full bar.
Presenter Jim Rice attended Marquette University, and pursued a career in education for 35 years. After serving as a history teacher, principal and superintendent, he now writes and speaks about Packer history throughout Wisconsin.
In Lecture #3 on Giant Cheeseheads, Rice details the lcose and interesting relationship between the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers.
