Description
Iconic Wisconsin The diverse works of 56 artists provide an expressive portrait of our state’s landscape, culture, heritage and more. The highlights of this juried statewide exhibition of over 70 works reveal unique aspects of Wisconsin that are not found elsewhere.
Frankie Johnson: Rhythm & Color in Oils The 2015 Cedarburg Plein Air Event Best of Show winner deftly demonstrates her ability to paint landscapes, portraits, still life, and figurative works with exuberance in this solo exhibition.
Recent Acquisitions: Kenn Kwint Milwaukee artist Kenn Kwint’s (b. 1937) career of art creation over a 50-year period resulted in large-scale abstractions with line and texture being predominant features. These permanent collection works are generous gifts from Kenn Kwint and the Kohler Foundation, Inc.
