"This is Cedarburg: Landscapes & Plein Air Paintings" Exhibit at the Cedarburg Art Museum

The Cedarburg Art Museum is pleased to present This is Cedarburg: Cedarburg Landscapes and Plein Air Paintings from the CAM Collection. This exhibition brings together examples of historic 20th century paintings of local landscapes alongside the winners of the Paint Cedarburg’s Plein Air Competition.

When the Museum began in 2013, the generous gift of 49 works that started the permanent collection included the winning paintings from this annual event.

Thanks to ongoing support from Mal and Jill Hepburn, the Cedarburg Art Museum continues to acquire the Best-In-Show painting from the competition. This is Cedarburg coincides with the 2026 Plein Air competition and looks forward to adding yet another winning work to the permanent collection.
