Description
The Ozaukee County Historical Society invites the community to "National Flag Day Program and Celebration" at Stony Hill School, the birthplace of Flag Day. The founder of Flag Day, Bernard Cigrand, will describe his love of the flag and why he wanted to make it a national observance. Patriotic songs, flag etiquette and flag raising will just be part of the festivities.
Children will receive a commemorative flag and pin. Ice cream will be served.
Parking is limited so a free shuttle will be available to take guests between Stony Hill School and Ozaukee County Pioneer Village.
