Zannah is an Educational Horticulturist at Heyden’s Gardens. She holds a degree from UW-Madison and has been employed as a professional horticulturist for over 30 years. In her youth, she worked with the US Forest Service in Montana, Idaho and Wisconsin before shifting over to ornamental horticulture. She managed the herbaceous plants division of a specialty nursery in Connecticut for 12 years before returning to her midwestern roots when her first child was born. Zannah’s area of expertise is herbaceous perennials but she is an avid plant enthusiast with a keen interest in vegetation of all sorts.
