Description
Justine Heinrichs started her professional life as an orchestral musician playing with the Tulsa Philharmonic. While working with the Philharmonic, she also began teaching, which has continued to this day.
Justine has always has a love for drawing, sculpting and painting, She spent several years as an egg artist before transitioning to fiber art in 2017, focusing on wet felting and needle felting. Interestingly, this passion began by completing pet portraitures, wool paintings and wool sculptures with varies styles from realism to fantasy to whimsical.
Justine won Best in Show with her wet and needle felted hawk portrait at Sheep and Wool in 2019. She became one of the first Sarafina Certified Felting Instructors in 2021.
