CCC July Artist-in-Residence Carla Luna

Carla Luna is a romance writer who lives in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. She first fell in love with the genre at age 15, when she discovered the rack of Harlequin romances at the library where she worked. From that point on she was hooked, reading everything from sweeping historical epics to Gothic romances set on windswept moors. At present, she writes romantic comedies with a dollop of humor and a pinch of spice. A former archaeologist, she still dreams of traveling to far-off places and channels that wanderlust into the settings of her stories. Her books have been called “escape reads,” perfect for perusing during a beachside vacation, a long flight, or a relaxing weekend at the lake. When she’s not writing, she works in a spice emporium where she gets paid to discuss food and share her favorite recipes. Her passions include baking, Broadway musicals, office supplies and pop culture podcasts.

Carla will be at the CCC to discuss  writing and self-publishing on July 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 19, 28, 30:  12:30-4:00 pm.
