Bluegrass at the Village

The Ozaukee County Historical Society presents, Bluegrass at the Village, on Sunday, August 9^th at Ozaukee County Pioneer Village.

We added a few new features for young families. We are promoting getting a wrist band to come and go during the day so families can go hiking in Hawthorne Hills Park, come back for food and music. We are going to have a “KIDS CORNER”, where children can make a log cabin, play giant Jenga, learn to play Ukulele and other games. We are also having a music clinic and jamming area for patrons to play with the featured musicians.

Our performing artist selection focuses on local groups this year. Our lineup includes Sawdust Symphony, Valley Fox, Cerny & Ogburn, the new Fox Crossing String Band and our featured artist, Aidan Muse. Aidan is a 13-year-old banjo player who is an incredible musician and has opened for many national acts. He is from Twin Lakes, WI and has earned many awards in his young career.
