Description
Bluegrass at the Village features five bluegrass bands that play on the historic platform of the Cedarburg Railroad Station.
The Ozaukee County Historical Society is pleased to announce this year's headliner for Bluegrass at the Village: "Nightflyer" from Southwestern OH. The group has developed a distinctive sound by combining carefully selected and arranged songs with stellar singing and instrumentation. The band boasts of two tremendous lead singers as well as four-part harmony. Their sound is contemporary with strong traditional bluegrass roots, a little gospel and a touch of blues. Their enthusiasm and energy on stage is infectious. Be sure to mark your calendars!
The festival also includes showcasing young fiddlers from the area, a Do-It-Yourself Kitchen Band, and a large raffle. Over 500 seats under the tent, lawn chairs are welcome.
