Open artist studios and shops, woolen mill tour, quilt and rug hooking exhibitis, a gallery exhibit and trunk s how along with two postcard-making stations and five workshops taught by award-winning artists. Exhibits include Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts "Collection Highlight: Hexagon Quilts." Admission to the museum during this event is free. The Pink Llama Gallery hosts Donna Tronca, Wisconsin mixed media artist in "Reimagined Fiber as Art." Cedarburg Art Museum will exhibit "Three Fine Folk," a look at folk art featuring rug hooking.
Workshops include "Abstraction Distraction," an art quilt applique workshop taught by Pat Bishop, "Itajime Shibori Dyeing" workshop led by Mary Mendla. "Demystify Design and Composition" led by Gina Studelska, "Bead Embroidery" with Jamie Lyn Kara and "Contemporary Mending" with Heidi Parkes.
