She holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from UW-Madison and has been employed in the Green Industry for over 40 years. She managed the perennial plant division of a rare plant nursery in Connecticut for 12 years\, was executive director of a community gardening program in West Bend for three years\, managed the garden center at Monches Farm for 20 years\, and is currently employed with W. & E.
